In recent times, Agile methodologies have been gaining popularity. And with its widespread popularity, there is a lot of chatter ongoing about which of the project management methodologies to use, the differences between the two of them, and which of them is supposedly better. Currently, there are over 15 Agile methodologies. While a good number of them are focused on product development. Agile Project Management (AgilePM) focuses on the Lifecycle of a project.

This article aims to shed more light on the differences and similarities between AgilePM and PRINCE2.

AgilePM stands for Agile Project Management. Agile Project Management is arguably the only project management methodology that is fully agile. AgilePM easily adapts and delivers projects according to changes in your customers’ requirements. AgilePM is different from the traditional- fixed process mindset- way of managing projects.

The PRINCE2 and AgilePM qualifications both prove that you understand how to manage projects from start to finish. PRINCE2 has been around for quite a number of years now, and Agile methodologies recently started gaining widespread recognition. Either way, both qualifications are good indications of your investment and your interest in being effective.
