What is Scrum?
Overview
Scrum is one of the globally-recognized agile frameworks. It is designed for small teams who perform time-bound activities called sprints. Furthermore, the sprints usually last one month or less with daily stand-up meetings of about 15 minutes. At the end of any sprint, the team must produce a working software. Again, the working software must be valuable to customers or stakeholders.
Complexities and uncertainties in today’s world
Today, the business world is evolving at the speed of light. With advances in technology and mind-blowing innovations, it becomes difficult to predict what will happen in the next second.
As a result, it is no surprise that customers and stakeholders often change their minds on products and services. To deliver valuable products, it is imperative to encourage constant collaboration among all stakeholders. In other words, to prevent surprises, you have to involve everyone at different levels.
